Matt Larson was born in the Midwestern U.S., and he has lived there all of his life. He lived and performed in Chicago for four years where he wrote many songs and developed his craft. He left the city in 2006 to record his first album "Son of Lars", in a small town in South Eastern Iowa. Matt released his second album "The Ghost Cave of the Black Mountain in 2010." He now lives in Minneapolis.
