Son Of Lars, was recorded on 4 Track in a house in Fairfield, IA in the winter of 2007/2008. The album, with its Norse themes led to Matt Larson's project name "Son Of Lars", a reference to the roots of the surname Larson.
The original release was printed with a hand press and salvaged ink from John Stimpson.

Son Of Lars Minneapolis

Matt Larson was born in the Midwestern U.S., and he has lived there all of his life. He lived and performed in Chicago for four years where he wrote many songs and developed his craft. He left the city in 2006 to record his first album "Son of Lars", in a small town in South Eastern Iowa. Matt released his second album "The Ghost Cave of the Black Mountain in 2010."
